CCW backlog

My lovely wife just received her ccw renewal today finally.  She submitted her paperwork on 3.11 !!!

    Ha!!!  You're lucky!

    I just called DPS, again.... for the third time, just yesterday.

    They received my renewal paperwork and check on February 12th, 2013....   It's still in the "background check" process.  This is annoying.

    Agreed and the added bonus of their attitude when I call makes it worse!!

    What is odd is they took her fingerprints in the class. They had her come back and do it again as the initial set was not usable.  That set was also unusable.  She had to go to the Tucson police station to have them take them.  Those were also unusable.  They told her skin was so fine she did not have enough prints be able to copy.  He told her they would just do an extra thorough background check on her.

    I mailed mine in toward the end of March, so maybe I'll see something nice in the mail soon  :shocked

    Dps website says that the turn around time is 60 - 75 days right now.....if it hits 80 to call and check up on it.....
