All I can say right now is there are preparations being made and supplies being ordered by some fairly large medical organizations and facilities here in Northern Arizona. Problem is, like most if America, they are reactive more than proactive. They are planning for the what if situation and getting supplies before they need them as is every other clinic, hospital and medical facility in the country. Now most everything these facilities need is on back order.
From a medical standpoint Ebola is difficult to contract to the non-healthcare provider. If your close enough to get noddy fluids, vomit, poop ect on you then your at a risk. But honestly if you see somebody throwing up, aren't you going to move out of the way? Ebola also can not survive out of the body, or a Host, for that long. By definition I think it is not likely it could be airborne do to te short length of time it survives outside the host.
