Nevada Adds States for CCW Reciprocity and Drops 2
« on: August 25, 2015, 09:55:52 am »

Here is a link to the list of States whose concealed carry permits Nevada recognizes as of June 18, 2015:

http://gsd.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/gsd.nv.gov/content/FeesForms/Brady/2015%20CCW%20Recognition%20List%2019%20June%2015.pdf

As you can see Arizona permits are once again recognized.  This may have been posted in here before but it's certainly worth posting.

It has, but that's fine. I see conflicting dates (June 18th and 23rd), but the website itself says "*Effective June 23, 2015. In accordance with SB 175 and AB 488 of the 2015 legislative session, the State of Nevada will recognize the following States' CCW permits. Click here to view." Arizona is on that list. :)

Just watch out for the prohibited locations as defined by NRS 202.3673.

Seems to be differing opinions on this on the Internet (shocking I know).  Some say if "gaming" is involved that matters.

I contacted the AZ Ccw permits unit a while back to inquire why NV (a month + after they started recognizing the AZ Ccw permit again) was not on the reciprocity list? They responded saying: NV had not sent them the "official" paperwork they needed to do so.

I am happy to say, it looks like NV has now & is officially on the list of states that recognize our permit.

It's written into the statues and therefore they don't need signs.
