A gun-free America in 5 easy steps!
« on: October 12, 2015, 07:30:20 pm »
I'm not a big fan to Reason.com, or any politically slanted publication really.  But this video is pretty funny.

I laughed.

I tend to frequent Reason.  Not because I find their articles informative or thought provoking...no, its the comments.  The people that comment on the articles are absolutely hilarious.

Even if our government got rid of the 2nd Amendment altogether we'd still have the God Given Right to Self-Defense given to us by Our Creator.  The 2nd Amendment doesn't give us the Right to Bear Arms, it simply states that the government can't take away that Natural Right.

Require a card to access any health care or grocery store. Stipulation of having the card, accepting in writing unannounced and random searches of your home, car and office for firearms, ammo, and any other contraband. Feel free to reject the card, and starve to death or die of pneumonia. Card required to have any professional license, drivers license, or access to any government buildings.

Maybe they can put it somehow in your forehead or right hand, for simplicity's sake...

I would sure love to see her try to disarm him. I'd bet the Socialized Medical System in England would help pay to have her teeth replaced and her nose fixed after he beat her down with that ASP Tactical Baton.LOL :thumbup

I once saw a Hollywood film where this guy disarmed a bad guy and shot 40 people without reloading. I'm confident I can do that now after watching the movie. After all, it looked super easy.

In her case, however, grabbing for that side arm could result in that baton being uncomfortably inserted somewhere she really doesn't want it to be.  :shocked

She might be able to get it if she did it just right.  Use both hands, stand really close, catch the owner in a moment of 'condition white', hit the thumb break with one hand at the exact moment of pulling it out of the holster with the other.

That's a lot to do though and would take some good planning.  While doable, it wouldn't be as easy as she probably imagines.

Partially weapons trained? Even if she were fully weapons trained, she'd still have no idea how to un-holster that pistol with Safariland's ALS system.

Between the location (Manhattan), and the asp (with serious wear), and the navy blue color of his cargo pants, and the service boots, I'm willing to bet the dude is a LEO of some sort. Open carry in NYC is next to impossible for us mere mortals....
