Circle K isn't even in the top 5 of coffee for me...

I told him, not asked, told him to remove the firearm from the premises.

No accounting for politeness I guess.  :smh

Oh, I was polite... mostly. The way I see it, he wasn't entitled to more than the barest amount of courtesy.  As I said, the place was (and still is) clearly posted in accordance with 4.229.

He was being rude.  I don't abide rude well.
Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education or by legislation.  Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can't help being stupid.  But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity.  RAH

:hmm the barest amount of courtesy?  I would've walked out and not spent a dime there.

So instead of some professional courtesy and an acknowledgment that a lot of businesses are ok with this even of yours isn't and he may have erroneously thought it was cool because it almost always is (most businesses like having a cop around), you decide it's time to be an asshole Rent-A-Cop on a power trip.  You could have been cool about doing what you had to do, but you decided to make sure he knows that you're the big dick in that town, hm?

Good job.  You sure put that cop in his place didn't you.  :rolleyes

A doubt you'd be able to guess what I can't abide, but I suspect others can.

Hint:  It's Billy Badasses who think they're the cock of the walk and have to make sure people know who the big dick on the scene is.

I think we've answered the original question here to the best of our ability and it's time to move on.

    Locked.
