Depending on clothing, it is either a S&W Bodyguard 380 or a 2nd gen Glock 19.

I have that same pistol.  Mine used to have a LEM trigger, which I didn't like.  I swapped it out for a Variant 1.

Not sure what you would call my trigger, It's a DA/SA with the safety/ decocker. My brother-in-law has the LEM trigger I never liked it. I carry mine in DA mode safety off, with a round in the chamber. I love the pistol, I use it to impress my friends when shooting it just feels so right in my hand. I carry it everyday, and shoot it every week. The finish is getting thin in a few spots but I like it that way.

That's variant 1.

  • DA/SA with "safe" position and control lever (manual safety/decocking lever) on left side of frame.
  • DA/SA with "safe" position and control lever (manual safety/decocking lever) on right side of frame.
  • DA/SA without "safe" position with control lever (decocking lever only) on the left side of frame.
  • DA/SA without "safe" position with control lever (decocking lever only) on the right side of frame.
  • DA-Only with "safe" position and control lever (manual safety only) on the left side of frame.
  • DA-Only with "safe" position and control lever (manual safety only) on the right side of frame.
  • DA-Only without control lever (no safety/decocking lever).
  •
DA-Only without control lever (no safety/decocking lever)
 - Special issue for Gov't Only
  • DA/SA with "safe" position and control lever (manual safety only) on the left side of frame.
  • DA/SA with "safe" position and control lever (manual safety only) on the right side of frame

There are some hybrid variants possible too by mixing and matching part.

Only the .GOV can get 8.

Made out of unobtanium probably.

EDIT:  Wiki says it was never produced.  The above list I got from HK directly, so I dunno.

EDIT2:  Page 13 of the HK45 manual says this...

Quote
NOTE: To be consistent with the variant designations of the HK USP and USP Compact, there is no Variant 8. Variant 8 was a designation reserved for a HK USP government test model.

The only thing that separates man from animal is our affinity for toilet paper.

Once we as a society lose that affinity we begin to descend back into the animal kingdom, and after three or more days you will find the food chain beginning to invert on itself.

My standard EDC is an LCP in a pocket holster.  For just a trench sight, sure is amazing how easy it is to keep it in a pie plate at 15 yards.

If I feel the need for something a bit more serious, usually my EMP 9mm or Kimber Compact CDP II.  Although, my SP-101 in .357 with a 2 finger boot grip does make the random appearance.

Just too darn hot down here for the cover garments necessary for a major caliber firearm, especially since I try to avoid OC.
