You know guys I get up every morning and read Drudge, Fox News, USA Today, Huffington Post, Tucson News and Detroit News. It is very very discouraging. This country is just off track...or I am. Very sad but thank God we live in this wonderful state.

The US Virgin Islands are awesome! I was all over those Islands for the Navy back in the 60's.

My second favorite place down there is Puerto Rico. I was TAD at Roosey Roads for a while

and tried to get stationed down there, buy alas, my skills were needed elsewhere.

It's 3:41 and the wind woke me up. My hip is hurting too so I guess I sit here for a while

until the pain meds take effect. Getting old sucks! I did get 200 rounds of 9mm loaded

yesterday so I feel I have accomplished something.

Going to Tucson Monday to teach a Rescue class, so at least I will have something to do

to stay busy and keep my mind occupied.

I have some business travel coming up, so that's good. I'll be going to San Diego at the

end of the month to teach some Navy folks how to be safe.

I guess I'll give the bed another try now. C U in the AM!

Hey Bill, do you publish a list or schedule for your rescue classes? I'd like to take something more advanced than basic 1st aid and CPR. It would be a welcome bonus if I got it from someone on the AZGO site and a fellow ham.

GT, the classes we teach are for the radio/cell phone tower industry technicians/climbers. With
OSHA rules stating that tower climbers must stay 100% connected, (since 1996), now a days
when a guy falls from a tower he is left hurt and hanging there at what ever height he fell at.

Can the local fire department get him down from 400'? More than likely not. So your best option
is the men you are working with. And the tools you already have on hand or rigged on the tower.
Under the Good Samaritan Act, with proper training you can rescue your fallen buddy off of
the tower and give him to EMS when you get him to the ground.

There are different ways to rescue someone. If you have a crane on site, use that. But now
a days tower hands use decent tools like the rock climbers use. Figure 8s, Qs, fisk decenders,
Petzl IDs and such. We teach the men how to descend down to a fallen climber, hook on to
him and bring him to the ground.

Anyway it is a fun job and I get to travel all over and meet lots of good people.

Morning guys. Up early because allergys are kicking my ass.
Miserable. I have been using some over the counter meds which are not helping in the least.
I went to the doctor last week in an effort to get a script of something to combat this and they said there was not anything....which I don't believe. This is not just an annoyance but is making me miserable.
I was hoping my friends on here might have the same problem...and therefore a better answer.

Long story short we were in a motel( me, Wife & 80 Lb Bulldogge) for 19 days.....Got the condo mid January, in fact, signed the papers on a wed., moved in on a Friday, left for Vegas to do SHOT on Sunday,...still have about 15 or 16 Boxes to clear but it's starting g to look like a normal couple live here...we're about 7 Minutes away from were we were,...(Cornville) and about that much closer to I-17, but much closer to our outdoor shooting Spot near West Sedona, and to our indoor Range, Copper Star in Camp Verde. Downsized by about 400 Sq. Ft...bigger Garage, smaller Yard( Really a patio) HOA takes care of Grounds except for the Patio......my new office is Bigger,..much better fields of fire......Health Club, Pool, etc...

Morning folks. Kids are going back to school today after 2 snow days in a row. Thank goodness. Them home drives me crazy sometimes. They get bored and want the parental units to entertain them. I remember the days where we(as children) had to entertain ourselves.

Well crap. Another day awake before the 6 o'clock cut off.

Had to finish cerekoting some stuff yesterday now I can hardly breathe thru my nose. Bugers are a combination of Olive drab, FDE, Burnt Bronze and Tiffany Blue. I think I am getting out if the cerekote business though. It is a major time consuming thing to do, no dealer or applicator discounts from cerekote. Just to much as a FFL and Manufacturer to do by then selves. We shall see though.

Morning all, unfortunately I have been up since about 0400 sneezing off and on. Congestion sucks. Hopefully I am not getting sick as I was at the "ol Folks" homes yesterday for our annual Pine Wood Derby. Never know what's you can pick up there.

Anyway, just planning on making some slat wall today for our retail location and hanging it up as well. Might even get time to paint it but we shall see.
