Damn..that coyote is healthy.
This year they are unusually big in my area. They are apparently eating very, very well....

This is a boring video but I think...and its just a guess,  that this is a lesser nighthawk.  Not really sure what he is doing but he was flying in and out of the camera range just before this.

This guy did not like what he saw or smelled on the path ahead.

I have been trying to not just get the animals in the pics but the background also. But they don't always make it easy.  The cameras keep getting better as they compete with each other and that really helps.  Most of the really great pictures you see on Natgeo and other formats are made using hacked high end movie and still cameras plus additional sophisticated timed lighting.  Some of the 35mm digital cameras appear to be pretty easy to hack and I purchased one for that purpose but it is lost in the bowels of the USPS.  Go figure.

That was the sixth coyote that walked in front of that camera last night.

That's great your daughter likes to look at them... I love that.
This summer will be interesting as things heat up.  This is in a part of the yard not visible from the house so that helps encourage traffic.  You would think that they would run into each other there but I haven't seen it yet.
I don't believe there is a truce at the water hole as some people say.

Nope.  Not hard to figure out who the dominant one is in that last clip.

Looks like he wanted you to know: that he knows, that you know, that he knows you're watching him, and he's watching you do it.

Love the videos you post of these critters in your area.
