Thank you all for the welcome.  Cyris, I actually grew up on the East side and graduated from Sabino, left Tucson for about 25 years and I'm back now, have been on the North West Side of Tucson for two years now.  Like it a lot.  Glad to be back in Tucson!  Justs got my RZR last year, still trying to find the old trails I remember when I was growing up here.  I think a lot of them are gone now  :-(

Yeah, I know what you mean. I still go down to Tucson on occasion and find that all of my old desert areas are gone. Old trails, shooting areas, party areas. All of them are covered in parking lots and churches. When I grew up, out there, lil abners steakhouse was pretty much in the middle of the desert.

Welcome from another Marana-ite! still plenty of trails out in Avra valley, although the old Johnston mine belongs to Pioneer Sand and Gravel now, and sometimes the park rangers get their panties in a wad if you even look at an arroyo sideways. And the old town of Silverbell has been destroyed, buried by tailings and fenced ASARCO. but hey, still a lot of places to go off road out here.
