I heard about this place for a while and finally tried it. I thinks Lee's is my new sandwich joint.

    It's my birthday :)

Nice slice of meat. Bonus points for the man sized knife, minus one point for lack of gun in the picture and happy birthday old man =)

A point that is largely academic to the steak in question.   ;-)

I was feeling lazy tonight. Board's head prosciutto on bread with port wine cheese on the side.

Nope. A bucket full of crawdads does make a weird clicking sound once you drain out the water though.

Easy mistake to make. They pretty much are small freshwater lobsters.

Did you get those live? I tried some frozen ones ONCE nasty stuff, then years later I read they have to be fresh. :confused

They're sorta tricky to catch. Did you guys use nets or use the old fashion method by hand?

We used a raw chicken leg on a string and a small landing net.

Drop the chicken to the bottom under the dock, let it sit for a couple minutes, pull it up and swing the net under before the crawdads let go, repeat.

we used to use a chunk of liver (our catfish bait) and just put it in the net and set the net down in the water a few feet from shore. Every 10-15 min, repeat. 5 gal bucket of craws in an hour or so
Heat it till it's hot, then beat it with a hammer until it's the shape you want.    Blacksmith's advice that works for pretty much everything in life
