Polish Tantal Help

Found out today that this pin is missing something. Question is what should be there and where can I order it?

I looked at a pic taken in July and there wasn't anything there at that time either.
Was able to find a coat hanger on the ground to use to allow me to keep shooting.
This pin has a notch in it that lines up with a notch in the barrel to keep the hand guard 'keeper' on.

Also the roll pin shown in the pic's; the hole on the opposite side is smaller than the hole the roll pin is sticking out of. Should this pin be driven in all the way?

There's supposed to be a lever there for locking and unlocking the handguard retainer.

I would think so, but I didn't see any available from a cursory google search.

As my memory isn't as sharp as it use to be, I believe the roll pin is a stop for the lever that is missing. so it should stick out. You my be able to find one at the gun show this weekend or I can look for you. CR
