Thats actually pretty close to my process of buying beer. . I hate sours though.  I'll drink macrolager before I drink sour ales.

The whole exercise is invalid without a category that takes into account the amount of money you have to spend.  That frequently trumps all other considerations and sometimes determines whether or not you actually drink any beer at all.  Most college students will drink anything that somebody else buys - regardless of other factors.
