nicknamed the howitzer ive talked to a few guys that say these are extremely effective. curious if anyone on here runs one. Im looking for one for my grendel. see if anyone likes it even though it looks weird...

    I would totally rock one of those at the range, but I don't think I'll ever use a brake while hunting, since I hunt without hearing protection. 30 cal rifles are loud enough on unprotected ears as it is.
    Heat it till it's hot, then beat it with a hammer until it's the shape you want.    Blacksmith's advice that works for pretty much everything in life

    I wonder if they would even allow you to use one at a range?

    I don't see why not. I've never been to a range here in AZ that had gear/accessory restrictions. Only caliber (no .50 bmg at some)

    ha yes there allowed. i run monster brakes on practically all my rifles. if the rifle recoils and your reticle comes off the target then you could definatly benefit fro one of these brakes. gonna order it from JP thx guys

    That's why you need to hunt suppressed man!!!! 

    #FightTheNoise. Lmao. We are gonna try this year with the SilencerCo omega on the 25-06 and the .308 for hunting.

    ha my 26in barrel would turn into over 30 with a dam can.

    at least. I would prolly suggest a Harvester 30 for you. 8" long but only 11 oz. with a MB on the end of it

    My wife's cousin has one on his 300 win mag. Seemed to be pretty effective it didn't seem much worse than the .308 I shot the same day. Looks crazy for sure.
