ok cool. litz knows his stuff for sure. i wouldn't consider ours the best in the business yet but still an elite barrel and improving. norman crawford won the wimbledon cup again, this time using one of ours. the cool thing is we're constantly improving every aspect of the company. another big equipment upgrade coming soon, too. we have a lot of repeat buyers and many that report phenomenal groups.
if you've seen the 4200 yard shot sponsored by nightforce, they're planning another one, longer by quite a bit, and ordered a barrel from us for that. the last one wasn't one of ours, but still obviously a good build.
the resin we use for the barrels is no doubt the weak link. we're on a gen 2 resin but the aerospace division is working on 3rd, 4th, and 5th gen that will lessen and eliminate the gap between resin and steel heat tolerance. and even with the gen 2/3 resin i'd take one of our AR barrels over an all steel one any day. just not ready for full auto until gen 4/5.
fyi, i've worked on stocks and barrels here but definitely not authorized to speak on behalf of the company. but i certainly believe in the vision and product. it's a work in progress but in many ways i believe we already have a superior product.
