Hi Everyone,

After a few years of contemplating a move from my home state of Colorado I just recently brought my family down here last month. So far the heat hasn't melted me and I am looking forward to fall and winter without the cold weather. I am a huge gun enthusiast, it is what I eat, sleep and drink outside of my normal work life. I shoot and collect for fun (not a hunter) and enjoying learning and discussing any type of firearm related topic. I reload, CCW, and am in the SBR/NFA game. I'm excited to join a new forum group down here and to be free from the B.S. state that Colorado has sadly become. Cheers!!

I grew up in a town outside of Boulder but slowly moved south over the years and have been in Highlands Ranch for the past several years.

No kidding, it is becoming such a joke there. The mag restrictions weren't really too bad to be honest, some shops actually evenhave them on the shelves. But I had more than needed before the law kicked in a few years ago. It was more of a pain if you ordered something out of state and they wouldn't ship any mags that were included. I will checkout the azcdl.org site, thanks for the heads up!!

I used to work for StorageTek out of Louisville. Spent a bunch of time up there. I always loved the Boulderado Restaurant. All U can eat shrimp ! Yes sir

I actually grew up in Louisville!! Back in the day when I was young (pre StorageTek) there wasn't much out there at all, kind of like a mini Mayberry almost. My old man used to take me up to StorageTek in the evening and on the weekends and taught me to drive in the parking lots.

The good news down here is that the wind don't blow 100 plus miles per hour and the women are a hell of a lot better looking than in Lafayette

Welcome. I grew up in Colorado. I've always wanted to move back there, but from what I hear the place has changed so much that I'm not sure what I'd be going back to. Arizona has since become my home.

Welcome to Arizona and all it's freedoms. My service brother lives in Highlands Ranch, been there for many years. I've tried to have him move to AZ but too much family. Big Horn Brewing Co. is a favorite of ours when we visit.
