Title: Need some 30 Rd M1 Carbine Mags
Post by: 289ace on June 22, 2020, 08:35:42 am
I want to pick up some 30 Rd M1 Carbine Mags and while I would prefer USGI, costwise I may need to settle for some aftermarket ones. I see Brownells has some KCI mags, and Keep shooting also has some of their own manuafacture. Does anyone have any experience with either of the above or a recommendations for some good aftermarket ones? Alternatively, does any one have a source for USGI mags that are around $35?

TIA for any help.

Depends on what capacity your looking for, but it looks like J&G has some -> https://www.jgsales.com/magazines-c-332_190_197.html?cPath=332_190_197 (https://www.jgsales.com/magazines-c-332_190_197.html?cPath=332_190_197).    I would call them first before making the trip, besides, it better to spend a day up there where it will be a bit cooler  :thumbup

apex has some for 39 in very good condition. Honestly, that's about as good as it gets nowadays. Shipping starts at $8.30 and don't forget our Republican SCOTUS online sales tax.

Thanks Guys. Both look like options worth pursuing.

ANM2_man,
I'm looking for 30 rounders but live in Prescott so I'll swing by J&Gs tomm and see what they have in stock. 2 weeks ago they had no 30 rounders of any type so maybe they have received some recent stock.

6.5 Gunner,
That looks like what I was looking for. I'll order a couple and see how they work.
