Cerakoted and Engraved ejection port cover
« on: October 28, 2015, 12:19:46 pm »
I am building an ultralight AR-15 for my wife as a Christmas gift, and I would like to put a monogram on it.  A nice place to put it would be the ejection port cover, since if she ever wanted to sell the gun (or toss it in a river after a wild night out), she could just remove that part.

Does anyone do custom engraving and/or cerakoting on AR-15 ejection port doors?  There are some out-of-state outfits, but this seems like a service that should be obtainable locally.

I think LRK Mechanical in Prescott might be able to help you out. I know they've got a nice CNC engraver and do Cerakote. No idea what they'd have to charge though.

If you call, tell them Jesse sent you.

I second the endorsement for LRK Mechanical.  Their ceracoat is top notch!
