Bushnell 1-4x24mm Throw Down PCL
« on: December 07, 2015, 10:44:31 pm »
I have been eyeing up this scope for a while.  I found it on Amazon for 179 (but might get it cheaper through Bushnell with MIL/Leo discount).  Does anyone have one! Would love to get some feedback before I grab it.  I currently have a GARBAGE red dot that isn't strong enough to hold 0 so I am just wasting ammo.  I also have never mounted a scope so am I going to have difficulty here?  I know I have to get the mount/rings but other than that I am a complete NOOB!

Check out the Vortex new model 1-6x 24 runs about $299. It is very clear. Bushnell would be a good choice.

I have the Throw Down AR optic by Bushy that I mounted it on this Burris PEPR QD mount on sale at PSA for $59 now - (Christmas price).  Yes the optics is 1st focal (Reticle dials in & out with power), but the glass is not as good as say SWFA $299 (never seen a Vortex 4 power).  Probably a good first AR scope to "throw on", but it will be at the bottom of the the other 2.  PSA may discount it as they put stuff up untill B4 Xmas - should go below $150 ...

This Aero Precision mount is lighter for $89

I have the Aero mount.  It is a great mount and as stated it is really light.  I use it with a GRSC Combat Scope

I really miss this scope and regret selling mine. I found afterwards I preferred FFP for 1x shooting. Made it darn close to shooting with a red dot
