Palmetto State Armory buys DDI
« on: January 08, 2017, 02:00:45 pm »
In an interesting turn of events, its appears that PSA has just bought Destructive Device Industries which is a builder of AK's.  The intriguing part of this purchase is that PSA has been selling some pretty darn good AK's (especially considering the price) and that DDI has a rather poor rep for kicking out some mediocre quality AK's.

I'm not sure the purchase means that DDI will be building (or supplementing PSA's output) the PSA AK rifles. Maybe now would be a good time to buy a PSA AK as there might be a learning curve getting DDI up to the standards PSA set. Who knows.

This is an interesting move as they're a retailer moving into manufacturing.
