Gorgeous work - as we have come to expect.   :thumbup   Around here you could probably get a few cash donations to help with moving costs in exchange for a spot on the waiting list for restoration work.

We have several members here who live in the areas you have expressed interest in so hopefully some will weigh in with some helpful information.  It sounds like you intend to live near the river so just be aware that acreage within sight of it is going to be fairly scarce and fairly pricey.  Generally you can buy more land for less money if you get down river of Lake Havasu toward Parker in LaPaz county or a few miles off the river.  A lot depends on what your ideal property looks like how much money you're willing to spend on it.  There ares some threads here both recent and archived that will give you some of what we have talked about before on this subject.  You can go to the search function on the main page and type in various search words that will help you find them.

That smith is my favorite of all your work.

Nicely done.   :thumbup   Those little Winchesters seem to gain in value all the time.

Very eye-easy restoration of a great gun that I learned to shoot with as a kiddo. My Son-in-Law now has it.

    Bravo.

I  bought this Ruger Standard pistol at a gun show for $80, it was missing some parts and in need of a refinish.

Here are the before and after shots

Nice job - again - on what appears to be one of the old "Standard" models.   :thumbup
