Anyone on here shoot IDPA?
« on: October 08, 2017, 06:19:34 pm »
I am thinking of checking out a match sometime soon. Shooting paper at Ben Avery is fun, but thinking of changing it up. Also can someone give me a realistic cost per month to shoot IDPA? I'm not really that into the competitive aspect, just want to amp up my training a bit. I would be shooting a Glock 19 with miner modifications.

Great choice. I think you will really enjoy it.

Cost is minimal after your initial purchase of firearm, holster, double mag-pouch, magazines (3) and potentially a concealment garment.

IDPA membership: $35 per year. Most clubs will let you compete without being a member.

Match fee: I've paid $10 to $37.

Ammo: (100-150 rounds per match depending on number of stages)

That's it...

PM me if you want more info or to join me at the Yavapai Recreation League match. Match fee is $15 for non-members.
