First focal plane scopes in stock?
« on: November 03, 2017, 03:45:56 pm »
Ok, as I stated in my previous thread, I really want to buy locally, handle and look thru the scopes before I buy, considering how much scopes cost.

Does anyone know of ANY shop in the valley, hell even in Prescott, that has first focal plane scopes IN STOCK?

Do all the long range shooters just order over the Internet and hope they get a good scope?

Cabela's usually has a stock of Vortex FFP scopes.  They run a higher price than Internet though and sales tax is usually higher than shipping costs.
    Finally found my new sig:

Sportsmans warehouse has a few night forces. Not totally sure about other brands because I'm not up to date on other brand/models. The best time I've been able to check out other scopes is at a match. One time all three scopes I wanted to see where lined up on people's rifles. I was able to get behind them and check out how targets/environment looked hundreds of yards away.
