Measuring Rate of Fire for Full Auto Weapons
« on: October 02, 2018, 09:37:25 pm »
I was hoping to get some insight from the forum about measuring the rate of fire for a full automatic weapon.  I was thinking about recording the weapons and looking at a audio file and extrapolating from the highest 15 seconds.  Is there a nice, inexpensive meter for this function?  Any old tricks?

Want to measure my 1919 in all four calibers I can shoot and my Sterlings new 12 oz bolt (regular 16oz).  Suggestions and enlightenment welcome.

    Just get a shot timer.

Read the specs and make sure it has a cyclic rate function.

    Good luck.
