Leupold M8 2.5X20

I picked up a mint Leupold M8 2.5X20 scope today for $100. I was looking at putting it on the 10-22 takedown  but now am thinking the PC9 or the Marlin 1894C. that scope is tiny.

Those are nice scopes.  It would work well on any of those rifles as the eye relief is pretty generous and they are pretty bright even in low light conditions.

I put it on the 10-22 Takedown with low rings. Fits like it was made for it. Still fits in the bag. The Marlin has a Burris 2.75X Scout scope on an XS rail and XS back up sights. I put a shotgun scope on the PC9. Old eyes need all the help they can get.

The M8-2.5X20  fit the take down beautifully but the cross hairs were too heavy for small targets so I moved it to the PC9. Fits great and is fast. Ended up putting a kydex cheek riser on the take down and a shotgun scope with qd rings. Heavy circle with fine cross hairs.

Those scopes are too good not to find a home for them.

Final set up. The M8-2.5X20 is on the PC9. I put the 10-22 Takedown in a Magpul X22 Backpacker and bought a Leupold Freedom VX 1.5-4X20. Same size as the M8.
