Shepherd Scope Question

I’ve been considering buying a Shepherd Rogue 4-12x40 scope and was wondering if anyone here has had experience with them.
What would you compare the optical quality to?

I would pass on it. Stick to the larger companies. I’ll put money that it doesn’t track and won’t hold up. Are you prior MIL or LE?

So this is from practical experience with unit, or hear say, what makes is perhaps not a viable option.

it has nothing to do about believing or otherwise, was wondering why a statement like this is made, again, personal knowledge ect. not being picky, on optics i'm somewhat limited in my knowledge hence the desire to know who, what and why

I've handled several. They seem like decent hunting scopes.  Looks like they're getting into the LR game.

BPS has a funky reticle that NO, and i will say NO Precision shooter will use.

DRS has a parallax adjustment by the objective........... come on, we should know better guys

Salvo may have a use able reticle but it doesnt even say what focal plane the scope is.

for the same price look at Vortex, if ya dont like vortex look at Athlon.

Craig Sawyer may "sign off" on these but we know what that means. MONEY. he doesnt compete. come on ouit if ya want a class or have questions. im more then willing to teach a new shooter some stuff. bring a six pack and a carne asada burrito and youll have my attention
