Ithica M-49
« on: August 30, 2020, 01:33:24 pm »
Ithica M-49 22lr, single shot rifle in probably the best condition I've ever seen one of these rifles in. Doesn't seem to have been shot much and the action feels almost new.

$200

I'm in Mayer where I17 & 69 meet on the way to Prescott or Flagstaff

Is this really an M-49? I can’t find references to an M-42 on the inter web.

Alternatively it could be a M-72 but that would mean it was .22 Magnum.

Not the OP but that is definitely an M-49. I own 4 (2 Ithaca, 1 tastefully modded Ted Williams clone, and 1 Agawam Arms clone) and they are my favorite 22 rifles to shoot. CCI quiets sound like you are using a suppressor. If you ever wanted a tilting block but don't have the stomach to pay BSA martini prices these are great. The finish on the receivers is almost always worn on the corners, this one looks to be in great condition.

Free bump for a great little gun, unfortunately too far out of my way or it would most likely be mine.
