Any quail success?
« on: November 16, 2020, 08:19:37 am »
Ive been running into a ton of birds, but they seem a little more skidish this year. Flying away just out of range. Maybe hunting pressure? I have gone out 3 times only got 2 birds. Anybody limit out yet to make me look like a noobie? Post some pics!

I have only gone out twice.
I killed seven on one trip and six on another.
A friend that went with me got ten one trip and seven the other.

They do seem to be skittish. They have obviously been hunted.
There are a lot of them out there though. We saw lots of coveys with lots of birds in them.

I am not a picture taker , so no pictures.

    Where is here?

I live just outside of Congress it's nothing to see up to 20 in my back yard...  And yes I can shoot them in my yard...  Because my neighbors are a 1/2 mile away...
