I am glad that your finger is improving.  It's a wonder what doctors and operating rooms can do now, compared to 20 years ago. You already know to take your time from now on.

    How is your sensory in that tip?
    Do you feel:
    Pressure - Flat or point?  Feeling is pretty normal the tip is a little more sensitive.
    Temperature - Hot or Cold?  Normal, the blood flow seems to be good
    Moisture?  Normal
    Does it feel numb or tingly?  The numbness and tingly feeling has gone away.
    Do you get shooting pains?  I do get some sharp pains for no reason still and sometime on surrounding fingers

    Some of the dissolving sutures are still there one of the knots sometimes snags on stuff resulting in sharp pain.  One I cut off at skin level it still has a tiny bit sticking out but, it doesn't get snagged on stuff now.  I am still hoping the fingernail will grow out OK.
