Where in AZ can I purchase actual black powder? Don't want pyrodex, triple 7, etc.

Bear Mountain Sports over in Mesa usually has it but I haven't been in store for several months so you'd probably need to check with them before making the trip.

Sorry.  They used to carry it as I have bought it there several times over the years.  Good to know.   :hmm

I also suggest you try Thunderbird Cartridge Co and Legendary Guns in Phoenix.  I have purchased black from them
in the past but it has been some time.

I always get it on line, it's about half the price  of the last can I bought at the local gun store couple of years ago.  I don't even know if they sell it locally any longer.  Graf & Son my best luck in buying but they have a four pound minimum.

I stopped at Legendary Guns and BassPro last Monday and the  only thing I could find was Pyrodex or HotShots, and only Legendary had caps. No holy black to be seen. As for REGULAR ammo, Legendary had lots at high prices, and BassPro had literally nothing but empty shelves.

I stopped at Sportsman's in Tucson and they had quite a bit of Pyrodex. Mostly P but also de decent amount of FF & FFF  triple 7.

Thunderstick Trading - in Tucson is where I go for Goex and Swiss.
    They sell Pyrodex products too.
