I think it's interesting how some think an AR isn't "really" an AR unless it has the dust cover, ejection bump (that creases casing making reloading more challenging) and the forward assist.
But if you put those same features on any other firearm, they would look absolutely out of place and scare people off. Can you imagine Gaston Glock embracing perfection on the side of a G-19 with a dust cover? Lets stick the ejection bump on an M1 Garand. I'm sure it will finally become a complete rifle. Everyone knows a lever gun needs a forward assist on the side.
All three examples would become the most despised firearms in existence drawing vitriol and hatred from every corner of the gun-forum world. But for some reason not just one, but all three have to be on an AR.
I showed this to my daughter last night to see if she was interested. She's a poor college student so no where close to having the scratch. But for what it's worth, she liked it.
