New to black powder

Bought a 50cal. kit yrs ago. not complete. Thinking about tackling it, and might be looking for some advise. Would this be the place. Tks.

    Kits vary considerably in quality.  Some of them are pretty good - which minimizes the amount of work the end user has to do.  Others - not so much.  The good news is black powder weapons are pretty simple and usually well within the abilities of casual users with hand tools and decent hand/eye coordination.  Black powder shooting is fun.  Kind of messy but fun.  :thumbup
