Ruger 22/45 grips
« on: March 21, 2021, 08:48:58 am »
I noticed the wood grips on the MkIV 22/45 Davidson's Exclusive (model 40140). I like the classic look of the wood, and the red phoenix medallion.
Does anyone know if these are available from a grip maker? I've seen some similar, but without the medallion. Ruger does not show them as an available grip for sale.

Wow.  I thought for sure I had seen those grips for sale on Ruger's site in the past.  Not now though.  I have the MK IV 22/45 as well, as I prefer the ergos, and am surprised at the lack of nice grips for this gun.

Maybe they once were there and my timing is off.  :rotfl

I also really like the ergos. There seem to be some fairly good choices in G10, molded, and other custom wood. While nice, these particular ones just seemed kinda classic looking yet a nice touch with the little medallion.
