Can a .410 Shotgun Kill a Deer?

How far of a shot are you going to take?
How big is the animal you’re trying to kill?

Well, that’s a gray area.

This post is lacking so much.  Like purpose and intent.  What's the question or point? or is this post padding you up to 10 so you can access the Marketplace?
The only thing that separates man from animal is our affinity for toilet paper.
Once we, as a society, lose that affinity, we begin to descend back into the animal kingdom, and after three or more days you will find the food chain beginning to invert on itself.

Certainly. If you get close enough you can always beat him to death with it!

Depending on skill of the shooter and shot placement, sure. 22s have been used to kill bears in a life of death situation, but again a little luck and skill of the shooter.

Legally? Doubtful. Most states have minimum caliber requirements for hunting various animals.

The 410 is capable of taking a deer but I would recommend using Brenekee slugs and max range of 35 yards. The light weight 410 HP slugs do not perform well. There are some imported solids available. Just stay away for the hollow points.

I think depending on where you hit it of course. If you hit any of it's major organs, I'm sure that would be fatal
