Glock 22 RTF2 Police Trade-In
« on: October 30, 2021, 07:05:11 pm »
Picked up this nice G22 RTF2 (Rough Textured Frame) law enforcement trade in. This one has slight holster wear, the night sights are still good, and it has the "fish gill" slide serrations.

never seen a glock with serrations like that! looks in really good condition.

I bought a trade in Gen 3 last year, my first .40. Don't shoot it much but it's a nice piece to have

Glock only produced those type of slide serrations for a short time. They’re pretty neat. I do like the rough textured frame, sure does have a nice grip to it.  :thumbup

I would highly recommend getting a spring kit and having the barrel thoroughly cleaned and borescoped if you plan on carrying it. I’ve seen some crazy looking shit come through off of used guns. Ppl think Glocks don’t need cleaned for some reason. Like there parts won’t gall/wear and then fail. Internet vudoo magic

Thank you, I will look into a spring kit.  :thumbup I disassembled it, cleaned the barrel and gave it a light cleaning. I was surprised it wasn't more dirty. I'm not too sure I'll be carrying this one, I like my G19.

You might be better off caring a bayonet.

I've never had an issue with my Glock 19.
