Just heard about this from APEX Tactical...

Apparently it's this Saturday at TRUE SHOT in Tempe.

    Cool. I shall bring cash.
I consider owning and shooting guns to be a fun hobby. That could also save my life or the lives of others.

Is this just a local shop doing a sale of some sort?

Or is it a gun show?

    Or?

I think it's pretty clear from the provided link.

Right under the street address on the web page is the following:

"Come out and see over 20 local Arizona Firearms, Ammo, and Outdoor Sports vendors!"

By my estimation, it looks like there are 36 vendors identified on that page as sponsors of the event.

While that, in and of itself, is no guarantee of anything, it simply does not sound like a single shop doing a local sale to me...

I met these folks at the Apex trigger open house.  They are basically doing something similar, an open house with multiple, affiliated, local vendors who have small booths or tables with product demos, swag, and reps to answer questions about their products.

Some of the vendors and sponsors may have discount codes, giveaways, or drawings.

I got a 10% discount from True Shot at the Apex event.

I guess if it was clear to me I wouldn't have asked for more information...
I most likely would not have asked the questions is it a gun show? or something else?

I guess it would have been nice if a more informed person could have stated it was an event put on at a local gun range..  That would have made it very clear...   Not everyone would know it is a gun range. Especially someone who did not want to drive several hours just to end up at a lame event when there were several gun shows going on that were much closer.

I stopped by with with my wife and kids on the way to a lunch for my oldest daughter. It was really cool. Very low key like a mini gun show. I chatted with the guys at Lee Armory for a  long bit. Something for everyone. Got to see and handle a lot of cool guns. I would love to see these regularly.
