Pretty amazing.  Actually I think they are two different lions. After leaving the porch he stops and looks to the left...that is where the lion coming up the driveway is.  They don't look the same.  It has been one year and a month since the last lions were on the porch that I posted here.  It was a mother and young one...I suspect it is the same two with the younger one grown....but that's just a guess. The funny part is the one lion on the porch was right at the front door....while I was watching a nature show about ten feet from the door.

Great pics.   :thumbup   The ease with which the mountain lions mesh with human habitation is understood and even assumed at this point but it still surprises me that they are actively exploring your porch.  It definitely casts a relaxing evening of sitting on the porch and enjoying an adult beverage in a different light.  Returning home after dark as well - especially if you need to unload some stuff from the car.   :coffee

My wife is more concerned with rattlers sneaking into the garage.   My hearing is so bad, would not know they are there.

Well, the sneaky bastages don't always rattle before they strike either so we could be hosed either way.   :facepalm

They were  arguing and  fighting among themselves.  I had a IR cam next to this cam.  They fought each other… which is normal for them…at the water hole right before  this.. everyone wanted to lay in it at the same time. They are a trip.

Great stuff.  The performance of your set-up at twilight is outstanding.   :thumbup

Thanks Coel.  I was having major problems with the set up… missed a lot of shots because of it.  Finally figured it out !!

Maybe some day, write up a summary of gear used and how you set things up?  Lessons learned?

You may have done this and I missed it.

This is Shannan ..part of a study going on in my area.  She recently gave birth to a litter but lost them all shortly afterward.  She is pregnant again so hopefully we will see some little ones.
