    A twofer!

Do they normally hunt alone or is the camera's FOV too narrow to catch them most of the time?

This has been the most amazing series of pics of the gray foxes I've ever seen.   They are reclusive at best and few of us ever see them outside of this thread.  Last one I saw in the wild was, unfortunately, dead on the side of the highway.  I haven't seen a live one for at least a couple of years.

They usually hunt alone but it is mating season so maybe they are  on a date. Lol.
You know Coel I have never seen one in person either.  They are just super reclusive.
Glad you like the pics.  They stayed and hunted last night giving me over 50 pics.

Getting together to make baby foxes hopefully.  It makes you wonder what they think about all the lights of the city below when you see them looking at it.

Be interesting to somehow ID these little guys to see if it is a family, or just a lot of drive-by visits.

Judging from the trail cams leading to these rocks and the times  I believe there are five or six different individuals…but that’s just a guess.

Definitely more than one animal.  I count three with distinct differences from the posted pics.   :hmm

I had a cam on the driveway last night just for fun....not sure how many passed by twice or more but there were 16 foxes that passed by.

Awesome collection of fox pics.  That one with the fox perched atop the rocks behind the saguaro in the foreground made me do a double take.    :-)

Kinda looked like he was on the cactus itself.
