Hi, Just joined. I found this online looking for places to go shooting in the desert. A couple of my girlfriends went out and purchased guns. I decided it would be a good idea to have a little class and have them learn about their guns, laws and how to load clean and handle. Do some practice shooting.

This looks like a good group. I hope to find some good place to go shooting and to find like minded people.

involved in sites and the shooting groups

As RJ said, most of the public land spots are closed now due to fire restrictions but should open up if the monsoon ever kicks in.

I learned about this forum from a gun shop along the 60. Recommended it as the best place to do private sales and learn along the way!

after Armslist decided to start charging to post ads, I decided to branch out and look at other possible markets. I thought it would be nice to join an online community where people cannot completely hide behind anonymity and spam post scams all day

I lived in Arizona many years, I have been gone for over 40years.
I moved back to Arizona in August of this year.

I recently started looking on line for Gun Owners & Shooter Forums.
I found Arizona Gun Owners today and your Forum looked great so I joined.

I am an avid target shooter; Skeet, Sporting Clays, Trap, Handgun & Rifle.
I do not have any friends yet so I need to meet folks who like to shoot and would like to have a new shooting partner.

When I lived in Kalifornia, I was member on a very similar board that provided a lot of great information.

I did a google search to find this board.

Soon before I bought my first gun, I think I researched a lot online and came across this forum. I bookmarked it and probably did not come back for 3+ years. Totally forgot about that. Found it again recently by searching something like "Arizona gun forum". Really glad to be here and hope the community grows.

I ran a google search for "Arizona Gun Owner's Forum".

I recently escaped that communist dictatorship off your Western border, only to find the stupid seems to have beat me here.

Either way, the Calguns.net forum was a very helpful resource, and I wanted to make sure I kept in contact with other "like minded" individuals in my new home.
