I think I found this site in an internet search. Looking for Arizona specific firearms info and enthusiasts. Looks like this is another great place to gain some new knowledge. I’m also thinking about selling one of my pistols. Looks like this may be a good place.

Some how I stumbled onto this site via ongoing research on pistols. I’m a newbie, trying to find what I want to buy and being somewhat new to AZ (almost 3 years here-first 2 years I was in grad school, and last 1.5 years has been COVID, so I feel Ike I still very new to the area) I was thrilled to find this site.

Loved Tennessee Gun Owners (TGO) when I lived there - awesome community, great group of like-minded people and trustworthy to buy from and sell to, so that is the first community I looked for coming here!

I was a member of Texas Gun Talk when I lived in Texas. It was a great source of local info. Found this one referenced on AR15.com., took a look and liked what I saw.

Friend of mine moved to Arizona and told me of a couple forums similar to the one we used in Hawaii.
We had both gotten disgusted with the HI forum after some millennial pissant started spamming every post.

Wife and I bought a small house in Oro Valley for a getaway and find the forums great info for our local knowledge.

Google search for me. Recently moved from Seattle to Sun Lakes AZ (Right!) meaning horrible political climate up there, and the in-laws live down here. Just hoping to meet good people and thank you for letting me "lurk" on you forum. Cheers!

Have not been out shooting in a while. Prefer plain old desert shooting over indoor ranges etc..., but seems a lot of stuff has been shut down. Years ago used to go to the needle rock area and just go in the washes and shoot. Thats been shut down for years now. Can't blame them as even back then people were trashing the place. Seen it coming. So basically was searching for places to shoot in the desert. This site had a nice map and seemed legit. I'll have to wait to hear about any good shooting spots from here for now. No problem. Totally understand as people seem to have lost any respect for the environment.

I was actually trying to find Arizona Shooting, but their website has been off-line for quite some time. So, I googled Arizona Gun and Groups and this popped up!
