Had to stock up for my new Glock 19X. Bought four ETS 40-round mags, two Glock 33 round mags, and five 17 round mags. Today for fun I did a mag dump on one of the ETS 40-rounders, worked flawlessly. Also bought another 850 rounds of 9mm and another 500 rounds of 12ga. Because I can.

I bought a S&W 19-9 a while ago and just barely got around to shooting it. Also, My Hesco 4401s came in today.

Bullets are the only things that do their job only after they're fired.

Cloud Defensive REIN this month and Cloud Defensive OWL last month.
I’m not familiar with the REIN, but I picked up an OWL over the summer. It is the absolute best weapon light on the market today.

Picked up a Rock River Arms RRAGE AR-15 today. I'm surprised prices are still somewhat normal at most gun stores. Kudos to them.

Daughter is going back home to NJ, jobs are tight, and she has an offer from a HS Classmate.

She had obtained a S&W M&P 22LR (2-10rd) Compact and wasn't taking it with her.

Gave her $300, looks like its never been fired. I had a new hard case, and printed out the manual. I like the adjustable sights; the manual says it's made for S&W by Walther.

These days, it's time to do my practice with a bunch of old 22lr rather than depleting my minimal C/F stash.

    PS, love the Red Ryder.

Picked up a "Wehrmann's Gewehr". This was one of those guns that was always on the list but a good one always seemed to pop up after another purchase (story of my life). This one was a little more than I wanted to spend, but given its overall good condition, immaculate bore and the way this year has gone I decided to splurge.

Chambered in 8.15x46r NORM, an extremely popular target cartridge in its time. Due to 8.15x46r popularity there were varying chamber and ammunition tolerances, the NORM indicates the standardized round and chamber. These rifles were the result of post WWI Germany. Basically, even though Germany was limited in its arms production they were allowed to continue to produce target rifles in the Gewehr 98 pattern. The originals had a wooden block in place of the magazine but as time went on repeaters would appear. Mine has a follower spring and floorplate, which can be correct, but mine is just a standard 8x57 getup so loading multiple rounds just leads to feeding failures. However I will say I like this because loading one cartridge into the mag puts it at the perfect angle to feed into the chamber smooth as butter.

This one's rear sights is the lange vizier rear sight (AKA roller coaster sights) and are always stamped with an asterisk annotating 100 and 175 meters. This one was a bit unique in that it actually had the distance markings stamped on it as well.

Daughter reported in yesterday from NJ.

She arrived late the day before and her sponsor immediately put her to work behind the bar of his restaurant. She's rooming with an HS classmate. She has her interview with Amazon today. She's got several years of bar tending and bar management experience in VFW and Legion Canteens.

Things move fast in NJ, apparently.

Good start, hoping it develops well.

These days, I'm not buying much of anything in this market. I could probably use a pound or two of powder, but there's no urgency.
