Firearms and Non-firearm Weapons Marketplace Posting Rules
« on: February 14, 2012, 12:00:00 am »
The Arizona Gun Owners Marketplace is a place where people can buy, sell, and trade goods and services.  Please read the following posting rules before posting in the Marketplace.

Note that all members, individual or commercial, must have at least 10 posts in other areas of the board to qualify for posting in the Marketplace.  The qualifying posts must be worthy and on-topic content.  Those attempting to make an end run around this rule with trivial posts will be dealt with the same as a common spammer, having their posts and possibly their account deleted.

For private individuals
  • All transactions not otherwise marked are assumed to be entirely in the state of Arizona.  If the proposed transaction is to occur interstate, please include the state abbreviation at the end of the subject line of your post.
  • When posting to buy/sell/trade private transaction items, always format your post subject to include the desired transaction type, an adequate item description, and the price (if applicable), as shown in these examples...
    • WTS - NIB Sig Sauer P226 in 9mm- $200
    • WTB - Marlin 1895G
    • WTT - Glock 19 w/ 5 mags for HK USP Compact
  • One 'bump' is allowed after 7 days from the original post date.  After that, only price decreases or meaningful updates are permitted.  See here for further details.  Legitimate updates are allowed any time.
  • Always lock or delete your thread once the transaction has been completed or the item is no longer available.

For commercial enterprises
  • All posted transactions must be firearm or shooting-related in some fashion.  Selling guns, gear, training, etc... ok.  Selling Gucci purses or prepaid cell phones... not ok.  When in doubt, ask a Staff Member via PM before posting.
  • When posting a commercial buy/sell/trade offer, include adequate information in the subject.
  • Always lock or delete your thread once the given offer no longer applies.  Commercial threads that appear to have been abandoned may be locked or deleted by the Staff.
  • Always include adequate contact information.  Posts without contact info may be deleted.
  • One 'bump' is allowed after 7 days from the original post date.  After that, only price decreases or meaningful updates are permitted.  See here for further details.  Legitimate updates are allowed any time.
  • Commercial offers are subject to moderator scrutiny.  While we do allow commercial endeavors to post, we do not tolerate blatant spamming.  Obvious spam will be deleted.

ArizonaGunOwners.com and its affiliates do not vouch for and are not responsible for the offered items posted in this forum.  As always, Cavet Emptor.

Thanks!
