IDPA matches at PRGC
« on: February 19, 2015, 08:39:36 am »
Any active competitors at PRGC IDPA matches?  Plan to give it another go this weekend after being gone for a while. Interested in their new division, Compact Carry Pistol (CCP) division. Although not sure when it will actually from to fruition. I subscribe to the idea of competing with what you carry so this is really interesting.

Thanks.

    I like this idea. :thumbup

With shorter sight radius and lower magazine capacity this would make things very interesting. :hmm Especially for 1911 CCO shooters.  :thumbup

Bullets are the only things that do their job only after they're fired.

When I'm not in school, I try to hit up the matches.

Unfortunately, I found out my P-07 is too wide for CCP. Not too concern at the moment.

This past Sunday, completed my first IDPA match in almost a year. It was fun, saw a few familiar faces and chatted it up.  I was definitely moving at half speed completing all four stages and ended up in the middle of the pack. Not bad even better since everyone else seemed to be shooting full size pistols whereas I had my compact. :thumbup

I'll continue competing with what I carry. May have to pick up a second pistol though.

I tried to be there every month till my shift got changed.  It's a lot of fun.  Honestly I think you'd be ok to start w your P0-7 as its pretty casual at the matches.
I know where my towel is.
