Question regarding bound book.
« on: February 25, 2015, 11:53:37 pm »
Hi all, I began buying milsurp rifles before I had my C&R license. Now I have it so I wonder do I have to put rifles I previously bought by filling out 4473 on to the boundbook?
From my understanding I need to record all the firearms acquired by using the license. Just need clarification.

So my second question raised, when I'm selling those 4473ed milsurp rifles, should I do a normal ppt or FFL transfer(exchanging c&r copies)?

Thanks in advance for any input.

You need to record all C&R eligible firearms you acquire after getting the license (whether you fill out a 4473 or just use the C&R FFL) and if you sell a C&R firearm that you had before you got the license you'll need to record that too.
